The topic of gay rights is one of the most opinionated topics in the world. There are people who agree with it and there are some who don’t. I think that gay rights shouldn’t even be something that people don’t believe in. I don’t see a difference between gay couples and straight couples, love is love.

I find it very pointless when people seem to care so much about the things that do not even affect them in the least bit. Just because someone is dating a person of the same sex does not mean you have to do that too, therefore it should not even be a problem but somehow it still is. If it is not affecting you, why should you say if it’s right or wrong?

This issue isn’t nearly as bad as it was a few decades ago. Years and years ago, it was severely frowned upon to the point where very few people wanted to be themselves. Now in 2014, 17 states allow gay couples to get married and 33 still ban it completely. Canada allows gay marriage all over the country, in every single province and territory to be exact and that’s the way it should be.
