I have no idea why the county of Canada has not legalized the drug Marijuana. It has been a debate for decades and they should just stop talking about legalizing it and just do it. There are no disadvantages of legalizing Marijuana; it would actually help this country out a lot actually.
If Canada ever did decide to legalize Marijuana it could have to be similar to the laws of alcohol. It should be so you should not be able to work or drive under the influence of Marijuana. Every year that Canada doesn’t legalize Marijuana, it spends billions of people for using the product.
Most of the crimes in Canada are possession of Marijuana so the jails spend billions of dollars a year keeping these people locked up for smoking a simple
plant. Just imagine how much money the country would save if they got rid of all of the drug laws. Canada would save billions of dollars per year but what is stupid is that there is much worse stuff out there that is legal. Alcohol is one of them and it is much more dangerous than Marijuana. Many people per year die to alcohol overdose and yet no one has died from Marijuana overdose.
